Tempus Edax Rerum
Tempus Edax Rerum is latin and translates into "Time, Devourer of all things"
It goes on and on.
Unstoppable.
It's what makes things
Impossible or possible.
Everywhere you go,
It's there.
We each don't have an unlimited supply.
So that's why we all take care.
Determining our age,
Using it to measure all.
Seasons, schedules, and years.
Sooner or later, we all fall.
Victim to it's grasp.
There is no escape.
Even if you delay the end,
It'll still grab you by the nape.
Dragging you into the darkness.
There will be your last moments.
And your last few breaths.
What's left of your life wilts.
It makes us all mortal.
Only certain things endure.
Those that are integral to the future.
Whether they be evil or pure.
Seconds, minutes, hours, and days.
Each one of them precious and sublime.
Use them wisely, life doesn't last forever.
Everything ends with time.
