Drowning in Boredom
Sitting in class, a place i'd rather not be.
Writing my name on a paper, Irell Lee.
Clouds drifting, Sun shining, through the window i see.
This Professor's lecture does not appeal to me.
Time's up, I get up, make my way to the hallway;
This is my ritual, my schedule every day.
Voices pass me by, it's unknown what they say.
Winding staircases attempt to lead me astray.
In the next class I dwell, the end I await.
Topics of discussion, I can never relate
Regardless, I still strive to participate.
Its no use not to, my only choice is assimilate.
12:50, it's over, it's time to go.
Going home, go to sleep, until tomorrow.
